3D Systems DMP Flex 350 Dual — Technical data

The DMP Flex 350 Dual is the two-laser version of the Flex 350. Two 500 W fibre lasers share the 275 × 275 × 420 mm build volume, shortening build time on full plates without changing housing, weight or connection values compared with the single-laser model. For dual-laser operation 3D Systems has qualified a narrower material selection: titanium Gr5 and Gr23, two aluminium alloys, 316L stainless steel, cobalt-chrome, maraging steel and M789. Like the single-laser version, it targets development, research and production, but offers more throughput per build.

When buying used, the operating hours of both lasers should be documented separately, and it is worth checking that the calibration of the overlap zone between the lasers is current. Filter condition, vacuum pump, service history and unlocked parameter sets also determine the value. Site requirements are the same as for the Flex 350: 400 V/15 kVA, argon, compressed air and a floor with adequate load capacity.
