3D Systems Cube 3 — Technical data
The Cube 3 was the home and classroom printer of 3D Systems' Cube family and launched in 2014 alongside the larger CubePro. It prints parts up to about 15 cm per side with 70 µm layers in PLA or ABS and can combine two materials or colours in one print. It was designed for easy setup, kid-safe operation and printing from a smartphone via the Cubify app. The Cube line has been discontinued.
In the used market for industrial equipment the Cube 3 plays only a minor role, for example for schools or as a secondary printer. Before buying, check whether suitable material is still available, whether the app and software link still works and what condition nozzles and print plate are in. Spare parts from the manufacturer can no longer be expected.
